How We Began
Mia & Michael Coombs often holidayed in Fiji and with every trip, their exploration of, and their affection for, the islands grew. After visiting the less commercial parts, they recognised a real need for the children in the widespread poverty stricken areas. They were compelled to create a charity that supported the education, quality of life and facilities of the children on the island. Michael and Mia reached out to John McGrath and with a little help from Lote Tuqiri met Father Joe Tuimavule. There was no turning back, trips to Fijis struggling schools became regular and the Foundation was launched

Our Mission
To provide education, food and housing to children in poverty affected areas across Fiji.
What we want to do
- Make a positive change to these children’s lives
- Provide much-needed resources for the children
- Educate and empower these children
Why we do it
We strive to give these children the basic ingredients for a positive chance at life. We want to encourage them to be the best they can be and to believe in themselves. We believe that every child has the right to an education, ample and nutritious food and a home in which to live. We believe, with your help, we can make a real difference in each of these children’s lives.
